What you'll learn
You must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must be able to speak, read and write English. You will be required to pass the Entrance Exam at the time of your registration with a score of 70% or above.
Prerequisites
This program is designed to train students who want to begin a medical career to become Nursing Assistant. The student is supplied with textbooks and all the supplies necessary to practice basic skills. After completion of the class students will learn how to: Demonstrate basic nursing skills, including vital signs measurement, patient hygiene, and feeding assistance. Understand and apply principles of patient safety and comfort, including proper body mechanics and fall prevention.
